The answer is YES. Most opener manufacturers can set up their garage door openers to work from your phone, so you can open or close your garage door from virtually anywhere! If smart technology is not already built into your opener system, it can be added to most existing systems. Then, you will be able to open and close your garage door from your phone using a mobile application for your respective phone.   Liftmaster offers the My Q product add-on.  You would have to verify if this system could work for your opener system.

This technology is very versatile. 

Even when you are not at home, you can open your door to let your family, or a delivery person or repair person come in. 
You can also receive notifications on your phone to let you know when your garage door is opened or closed! 
You can even share access to your garage with up to five other people who can then operate your garage door from their phones!
You can also set schedules to automatically close your garage door and turn the lights on or off.

AMAZING STUFF!  CAN AMAZON DELIVER MY PACKAGES INSIDE MY GARAGE?  In many parts of the country, Amazon can already deliver packages inside your garage.  This service is NOT YET available in Southern Nevada.  We hope it will be coming soon.
